From Egyptians To The People Of The World

We, the Egyptian people, who have decided to take to the streets on the 30th of June 2013, would like to make our voices heard .. Following the success of the People’s Revolution, and the ousting of the Fascist regime of the Muslim Brotherhood, we have witnessed Western media reports call our revolt – a military coup – well, it certainly is NOT .. More than 20 million of us took to the streets to say (GO) to a president who was not only incompetent in governing the country, but who also, with his group of fascists, threatened the very existence of Egypt .. We said NO to a regime that wanted to eradicate a 7000 thousand year old civilization; a regime that called opposition traitors and heretics, and a fascist group that incited Egyptians against each other and called for violence and bloodshed ...
Can people in the West condone such a regime? Would you have liked to live under a regime that ostracized women and minorities? Would you have liked to be ruled by a man who worked for the best interest of his own faction, ignoring the rest of the population, and encouraging exclusion? How many of you would have accepted the appointment of incompetent people in high office just because they are members of the ruling faction? Would you have liked to live under the rule of a government that encouraged nepotism? How would you have felt when you heard, on a daily basis, these horrible TV channels, encouraged by the Muslim Brotherhood, threatening all those opposed to the regime with violence and murder? Could you have appreciated a government that did nothing to stop, or end, the siege of the Supreme Constitutional Court and the Media City? Will you accept a regime that did nothing to stop the attack on the major Cathedral in your country, or punish those who have burned down churches and forcibly displaced hundreds of Christian families? Will you condone the thousands of lawsuits brought against journalists and artists? How would you have reacted when you had to go for days – in 2013 – without water, electricity or gas, just because those in office are totally incompetent? Tell us, will you have tolerated living surrounded by garbage because your government could not find a solution for garbage collection in this day and age? And finally, who in the West would have accepted a president who issued a constitutional declaration that gave him unlimited powers?
Nobody would have tolerated such excesses – SO WHY SHOULD WE?
Dear world, To be informed by MB representatives and sympathizers in Egypt, and elsewhere, is certainly a biased act that only goes to prove that the media industry is directed by official government attitudes and is far from being honest in transferring the truth to the people. When in January 2011 Egyptians ousted Mubarak, all Western media hailed this as a revolution, despite the fact that he (unconstitutionally) delegated the power to the Supreme Council of Armed Forces, which ruled for 18 months! Why was it not called a military coup then? Strange! Well, it was encouraged because it was in the best interest of some governments to have this state of affairs. And today, when double the number of people in 2011 took to the streets against Morsi, and the head of the Constitutional Court is sworn in as interim president - it is labeled a “military coup”- double standards – to say the least! We fail to understand the rationale behind marring the image of an exceptional, truly magnificent great mass revolt against tyranny, fascism and terrorism .. Unless, indeed, it is in the best interest of governments who have invested in supporting religious fascism in Egypt
People of the world, please see the truth as it really is: we rejected a regime that was destroying our very identity and our homeland, we revolted and the army responded to our demands .. It is that simple .. Egyptians are inventing their own history, and that is how we want it, and the governments that are going against this had better understand that they are really going against the people of Egypt ..
Long live Egypt .. Egyptians & Proud.

Egypt Today ..

EGYPT'S COUP, OR NOT? The events in Egypt today have put the country on a path towards a very insecure future. President Morsi has been ousted by the military forces who have formally declared their commitment to the freedom of expression and the freedom of the media, wasting no time undermining their own claims by immediately closing down three local TV stations that were affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, even arresting the crew of the Misr25 channel. General al-Sisi stated that the armed forces have responded to the cries for help of the Egyptian people, and in a sense they have. Without the support of the military the masses on the street could never have ousted the increasingly authoritarian Morsi. Even now, the former president refuses to admit his loss and has released a statement in which he asks the people to reject the military coup d'état and asks the population not to respond to it - oblivious to the millions and millions of exuberant Egyptians flocking the streets as we speak. In order to prevent an irreparable rupture from dividing Egyptian society, the army has to make clear that there is a future for the Muslim Brotherhood within political arena, but fears are that it is already too late. Reports of clashes between supporters and opponents of Morsi, and attacks from both camps feed fears of a civil conflict. At the time it is impossible to say whether we have witnessed a coup d'état by the Egyptian military, it all depends on which route they will take from here. If they abide by the rules set out by their 'roadmap', all could end well. If, however, they will be corrupted by the taste of power they have now experienced, and decide to demand a larger piece of the national pie (of which they already own 25%!) the revolutionary story of Egypt is all but over.

We Are Egypt .. And We Are Angry ..

Mohamed Raouf Ghoneim
Dear friends - chers amis - liebe Freunde - cari amici - queridos amigos. To everyone around the world - from EGYPT:

We Egyptians are hitting the streets today SIMPLY because we have decided that we will not let Egypt become another Iran or Afghanistan, or even Saudi Arabia or any other country. Egypt is Egypt, and we decided that it will always stay Egypt. We will stay peaceful cheerful humble loving human beings. We will stay Moslems and Christians, living side by side in peace and harmony. And our country will remain a place where human beings are FREE to wear as they wish, FREE to act as they wish, FREE to pray as they wish, FREE to play as they wish. We Egyptians believe that God created us FREE, and that we must fight till the day we die, to remain FREE.

That's why we Egyptians have decided TODAY - June 30th 2013 - that we will not be ruled anymore by the religious fascist regime of Mohamed Morsi and his Moslem Brotherhood.
And just so you know who and what we are up against, we are fighting against a regime that wants a radicalized society and seeks a fanatic religious orientation for our country as a first step towards their goal which they openly call world domination.
We are fighting against a regime that uses poverty and ignorance to mislead poor Egyptians to believe their lie that they are the representatives of Islam in the global war to defend it against the bad infidel Western Christian world.
We are fighting against a regime that believes in political assassinations as a way of reaching goals, and which has killed many politicians and public figures and writers and thinkers because they tried to liberate minds and steer Egyptians away from extremism and ignorance.
We are fighting against a regime that has its fingers even in your own home country and has spread its influence to reach your politicians and your presidents, so that they ignore everything they know about them and consider them legitimate, thus handing us over to them, and putting you also in direct danger of their terrorist acts, right at your back door.
We are fighting against a regime that has been involved in terrorist acts and bombings and mass slaughter and killings from Barcelona to London to New York to Madrid to Berlin as well as right here at home in Sharm El Sheikh and Cairo and Luxor - each time murdering and massacring innocent defenseless civilians for their filthy cause.

We don't expect this to be easy at all, but we will take this fight till the bitter end. And no matter what pictures the media show you, be sure that our EGYPTIAN revolution started peaceful, and will stay peaceful all the way, and no matter what those terrorists in power are planning to do to fight us, we will stand still with no arms in hand but our bare fists, and no weapons in our bags but our belief in freedom, and our determination to reach our aim only through PEACEFUL RESISTANCE.

So dear friends, now that you know what's happening in my country, please please spread the word about us, and PRAY FOR US, that is all we ask of you. Thank you and GOD BLESS ALL.

A proud EGYPTIAN

Some People Empower While Others Cut The Power

Well ..
first of all let me describe under which circumstances I’m writing today .. a candle is burning on the other end of the room .. my laptop is running on it’s battery .. my internet connection is through an USB modem & the strongest light in the room is coming from the screen of my laptop .. romantic I would say .. :) ..
as I was just setting up myself  to write about empowering people .. the power was cut .. something that happens on a daily basis here … power saving, the government is explaining .. the load is high and we have lack of resources .. when this was never an issue before .. ever since the new regime took over & our daily sufferings have increased ..
Their main interest and aim is to empower themselves and their Group as the chosen .. on whatever cost .. the end justifies the means .. people have been arrested .. beaten up .. tortured .. even murdered .. to achieve that goal ..
Furthermore hey have no vision .. no plan .. no potentials .. no skills .. nothing .. not even love for the country .. no intention to develop the country & its people .. they have caused crisis after crisis .. intentionally keeping the people from being empowered .. they don’t want the people to be better .. have a better life .. a life better than their own .. they believe that empowering the people would dethrone them .. so keep the people struggling for their daily bread .. keep them busy with lack of gas .. of water .. of bread .. of electricity .. the suffering through traffic everyday .. so they won’t have time to think about being empowered ..
that inspired the title .. here I live in a country where empowering it’s people is only a dream .. and I joined a network striving to empower people .. supporting & teaching how to have a better life .. even better than that of the owners themselves .. providing every possible tool  to accomplish our dreams … ironic .. I’m surrounded by an environment that is totally discouraging .. the least to describe  it .. but find myself trying to get the power I lack in my surroundings from this network .. I watch their videos every day since I joined .. and that lifts me up a little bit .. and gives me hope .. and empowers me to give hope to others .. we the people will succeed .. in due time ..

wow .. the power just came back .. :) ..
